Are Under Seat Subwoofers Worth It?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering adding an under-seat subwoofer to my car, but I’m curious if they make a noticeable difference in sound quality. My main goal is to improve bass without taking up too much space in the trunk, so under seat subwoofers seem like a good option.

However, I’m worried they might not provide the deep, punchy bass I’m looking for. Has anyone here installed one? How does it compare to traditional subwoofers? Would you recommend it to someone who wants decent bass in a small package?

I had a blaupunkt under seat subwoofer in my Ecosport. Had placed it in the boot. I loved the bass it created. Just enough, filling the low end.

If you are looking at car shaking bass, that's not happening.
