I can scarcely imagine how walking in Mumbai ( after the round the world circumnavigation ) would have felt with all those loud advert hoardings, the crowds and loud horns and people "getting somewhere"

4 Feb 2019 - Capt Jean Luc Van Den Heede - age 73 - from France - is the worthy winner..

It is inspiring, i am sure, for younger sailors like our own Cdr Tomy to look up-to a father figure in the world of solo round the world sailing.

Capt Jean Luc has sailed around the world 5 times already..

4 times podium finish

This time - WINNER !!

I think the secret of winning is well encapsulated in these few lines by Capt Heede
