My Sonodyne system is finally all set to go for its final journey.. 🥲..it served me well since 1991 until around 2013-14 before being relegated to the shadows.. Sonodyne

, premium niche brand in audio during the 80s’ and 90s’ .. it was a neighbours envy with its rich bass and yet discrete and discernible mids and highs .. it was difficult decision to part with it but this had to be done sometime… Today is the day . Amen !

Sonodyne. Reminds me of my journey with Sonodyne. In 1979 purchased a Sonodyne Super Jetline amp for a then princely sum of ₹1300 ,paired with a Cosmic Covox 2500 speakers. Nice sound. Then in 1983 upgraded to SC 2030 amp (with VU meters) and Sonodyne speakers(SS903?) with 10 inch woofers and 4 inch midrange (both Japanese) and a Philips Dome tweeter. Sonodyne,Cosmic, Solidaire(Chennai), Arphi, Enbee, Norge, Philips, HMV, Nelco, Murphy, Bush and others made some nice stereo systems. Yes those were the days.
