Best quality sound from Bose home theater

To get HD sound from

1. STB - Buy an optical cable which cost around 200rs and use it to connect optical out of STB with optical input of BOSE HT

2. PC - connect directly from PC analog output to bose analogue input(L/R, Centre/Subwwofer, SR/SL)

3. TV - connect TV with an optical cable.( u ll get 5.1 output only if u play thru external Drive like USB/HDD/etc)

4. Laptop - I dont know whether and converter is available like (USB to optical SPDIF)
