Bought LG 50PJ560 today

So instead of getting PJ350 I ended up buying PJ560, as there was no piece in stock right now and my brother wasn't much eager on waiting

I got two of the same sets and one will be arriving tomorrow and another one any day before Friday, as per the LG people.

Bought it at 58k I know it's a bit costlier than elsewhere but they weren't too keen on bringing the price down anymore . they initially quoted it at 61k.

second of the two TVs arrived and got installed today. And it is the one that i'll be using.

PQ is quite great, although I hvnt played and HD content but SD from 9 feet is looking quite nice.

Also, I got 320GB Seagate HDD with each Plasma so I am pretty happy about that. I hope to buy WD Live next month and soon a PS3

All in all , I am quite happy with my purchase and just cant wait to get my DVI to HDMI cable so that I can play HD content on TV and play some games

naah, because my viewing distance for both is more than 10 feet. and also I had extended our budget as much i could.

Could you post some pics of your plasma displaying a black image in a completely dark room? Just want to get an idea of black levels in this particular series.

Here are couple of pics I clicked.

You can see some temp image retention in image with black background. it was first time that I noticed any IR from couple of minutes of use, i guess that'd be because of the contrast diff between the blacks and the whites
