Buying a TV, help required...

For an average person, do you think that one will be able to see the diffedrence between the neo panels and the samsung ones.
I ask this because...many of my friends and family don't even notice the massive back light bleeding or the bluish blacks on my samsung p2250 monitor. I do, though

Why Samsung, just compare a neo-PDP from Panasonic with their own non-neo-PDPs and you'll notice the difference. For just the difference with reflections, contrast, I would recommend a neo-PDP Panasonic.

If its a plasma, it had better be Panasonic, and in that a neo-PDP.

The 3 years warranty is a bonus you cannot choose to ignore

I'm gonna make saturday a demoing day. Can anyone suggest some standard 3d and non 3d clips to see the difference like say, a dark scene from some movie or a 3d sample trailer to checkout each tv's performance ?

Wanted to call a few shops before I go and demo 'em out and well the VT20 was not available anywhere, even Croma, they told me that they'll ship it on order (for 80K) and that it wasn't available in any of the Croma branches.

Anyways, I was leaning more towards the Samsung 51D550 as it's in my budget which was already stretched from the previous 50k !!

Here are a few quotes, all with two 3D glasses (on the phone, so might get for a bit less);

More is always better! Head to the store with the intent to buy, make sure you make THEM realize you're ready to buy AS LONG AS they give you some freebies.

Insist on a bit of a discount. If paying by CC, tell them to waive the 2% SC. Moreover, tell them to throw in a D2H / Tata Sky or DISH HD coupon as well. Insist that it was the Diwali offer and you know they have it in stock, etc.
