Congratulations on the turbulent free journey for your screen.

I had taken a quote for some electronic item from another city, later i realized that this is a wrong step. It is always better to take quotes from the city one lives in for the simple reason that if something goes wrong on any of the counts, the person will be a local and will be much easier for the nailing and related. Furthermore one can visit their store and see their standing, etc before a proforma invoice is raised.

In my case i had got a quote for screen being Rs.1,75,000/- eventually i bought the same at Rs.1,45,000/-, the original seller was of great knowledge, courteous, etc but what a swindler he was.

I had got quotes from around 8-10 dealers across india.

I think that's a lot of value given there and besides all this the attitude of ARN from beginning till now was always of gratefulness to me for giving them an opportunity to serve me.

Rana Bro,

I too bought Da-lite High power, but 106" model B. It is certainly better than Grandview and has very good contrast, color and brightness level.

Thanks for your suggestion and Help :-)

I am going to try to get my screen installed on the week end :)

Regards,
Naren

Hi frens,

I'm getting the options of installing the following screens for my Optoma HD65.

1. Dalite 110" for Rs 18000

2. Grandview 120" for Rs 13500

Its not about the price.

I'm more concerned about the Quality of the Screen, Ease of maintenance, Warranty and most importantly...

"The Picture Quality"

Which Screen should i get...?!?

Thanks

were its available ?

Prabhu,

It is available in shops.

The shops which sell projector's will be storing screen's too.

To make things easier go through the various threads where a member has written that they have purchased a screen and then send a private message requesting for the seller's detail and feedback about screen.

Recently relocated to a new place and m setting up a new HT. planning to get the Da lite High Power again.

Last time around I decided to sit at 15ft from 110" screen as I found it more comfortable than 119". But over a period of few months I started sitting a bit closer at 13-14ft.

Last time the angle of viewing was about 30 degrees from 15ft for a 110" screen.

This time around I'll be sitting at 10ft so looking to get a new smaller screen. 30 degrees from 10ft suggests a 77" screen.

But since I started sitting a bit closer to 110" from 15ft to about 13-14ft, this time around I'm contemplating 92" at 10ft instead of 77".

Most probably will be putting up my 110" Da lite Model C High Power on sale.
