Denon AVR 2113

Guys,
Need lil help. I'm upgrading my AVR. right now I have a Yamaha RX-v730 which is really old. The speakers that I have is Diamond 9.5 and currently I think I'm not getting the best out of the speakers. So I'm planning to go for Denon AVR 2113. Is that a good choice? The price is Rs. 47500. Is there any other option I can look at? Thanks in advance.

If you can stretch a little go for NAD avr's or Ca.You will get significant difference.Also try ouy the offers for Marantz AVR's on HIFIMART.

Will you be able to give me a ballpark figure on how much more and pour some more light into why NAD or CA is better. Any specific models in your mind? Thanks.

Denon 2113 is a very good AVR..You can bargain 3 to 4 k less on the price quoted.

NAD and CA will cost you 30K's more,I believe due to fall in rupee value.

They sound better because they have huge Beefy transformers giving much higher continuous power across full bandwith, increasing dynamic headroom.

It's like having a separate pre and power amp in sync.

That is why they are much heavier.You have to hear to believe their effect. They sound much better in 2 channel stereo audio than entry level AVR's.
Models I would mention would be CA 650R and NAD T 757.

I would rather prefer Denon 2312/Yamaha Aventege over your present AVR, if you cannot take the next leap.

Hi there, I got a 45k quote for 2113 so you can definitely target that price or a little lower. I am planning to pair 2113 or 1912/3 with diamond 9.5 or 10.6.not able to audition 9 series, any suggestions on the comparison? Also, do you think there is significant advantage of 10.6 over 9.5 ? Please consider usage without sub for atleast 6 months... Cheers

Go for Yamaha Aventage series AVR if you want to pair with wharfedale speakers.
