It is funny. But mistakes can be there on original stickers also. I heard Denon is coming up with new models and the importers are forcing dealers to sell fast as they wont be getting warranty on old stock. So this can be a case of that.this is seller from gujrat india and i asked for images and carefully see the spelling of amplifier on box. I am still laughing
Actuallly I didnt find anything wrong in the spellingthis is seller from gujrat india and i asked for images and carefully see the spelling of amplifier on box. I am still laughing
seee spelling of amplfierActuallly I didnt find anything wrong in the spelling
Denon sells AVR's ( with built in tuner ) only in the US market. For Asia and Europe it is called as AVC, means no inbuilt tuner.
So the name is correctly mentioned as Denon AVC X4800. Though usually the full name should be Denon AVC X4800H.
also i have one seller from delhi but on box origin is vietnam for x4800h. should it not be japan onlyI got mine yesterday from official dealer. It has same spelling.

The Denon models from 6800 upwards are made in Japan. This includes their A and A110 series. Rest are made in Vietnam these days. So this is a genuine model.also i have one seller from delhi but on box origin is vietnam for x4800h. should it not be japan only
then how this is of japan? The Denon models from 6800 upwards are made in Japan. This includes their A and A110 series. Rest are made in Vietnam these days. So this is a genuine model.
If the 4800 is made in Vietnam. And then shipped to japan. And then comes imported into india from Japan. Then made in country is "Vietnam", and country of origin will be "japan".then how this is of japan?
some sells at 1.60 lakhs some at 1.48lakhs and some at 2lakhs.What is the current selling price (not MRP) in India?
it is getting confusing now. this model is written as japan on outerbox, will it be japan also on back side of actual product inside? If the 4800 is made in Vietnam. And then shipped to japan. And then comes imported into india from Japan. Then made in country is "Vietnam", and country of origin will be "japan".

shitThe whole idea between writing "made in " or " country of origin" was to confuse the consumer. And they've succeeded . I have a hunch that it will be written as "made in Vietnam" at the back of the AVR.
But honestly that wont make an Iota of difference. Vietnam is a manufacturing power house today with very good quality control. Good that they are doing it, so we can get it cheapershit
i am buying x4800 only becoz of made in japan else i will buy x3800hBut honestly that wont make an Iota of difference. Vietnam is a manufacturing power house today with very good quality control. Good that they are doing it, so we can get it cheaper
Oh okay....thanks for that correction....I must have unnecessarily given quite a bit of a jolt to a lot of folks then
