Desktop Computer or All in one

Hi

I wish to buy a desktop computer. I would prefer All in one Desktop computer. Should I go in for an assembled one ( can one get an assembled All in one?).
I want to use the computer for general home use, net surfing etc.
My budget is 50k.
Does anybody have any suggestions on make to go for ot choose between a desktop and All in one.

there are all in one cases available from LG but afaik not available in India yet. you can for a decent all in one from HP but seeing your usage is quite general u can do it better at a fraction of the cost. buy a LCD screen of your choice, in fact you can buy a really nice one like Dell 2412HM which has IPS screen(19k), all you need is that the monitor should be Vesa mount compatible, and then mount a nettop behind it, and add wireless keyboard and mouse. many nettops are available from zotac in India. if you can import through borderlinx it will be even cheaper (thats what I did).

u can see the options from foxconn in the above link. I have the a3700 model which is barely 10k, after buying u just need to add RAM (2k) + a 2.5" HDD (~3k). I have been using as a HTPC to play full HD videos, and it works like a charm...

u again need to make sure that the barebone system has a vesa mount compatible bracket, all these models in the above link has that..
