Shipping for one XPA-1 was Rs.20,914.33. Each XPA-1 weighs around 40 kilos shippeddo share the details on shipping charges etc, if you dont mind
thanks for posting about the sale!
i ordered the erc-1 cd player, getting it through borderlinx. will post when i receive it![]()
21k + 42K = 63K x2 = 126K for a pair of Mono blocks , cant dream of buying anything of such sort here at this price . The closest to the XPA-1 here is the Parasound JC-1 which cud be bought from chennai but at a price 3-4 times more!!!!
Don't even compare the two - not a can but a big bucket of worms...
I have heard XPA-1s in a system and they can drive anything on this planet without a sweat with minimal burn in (100 hours) - no joking at all.
Parasound JC-1 - seriously require 1000+ hours of burn in (its crazy but something attested to by owners). They are phenomenal in performance for music and HT.
Between the 2 I would choose XPA-1 as its great VFM but I feel that Halo's are much better VFM and do a great job in their appplicatoins and edge out Emo's. Again my personal opinion
Finally got home and opened the package.
It was well packed.. I plugged it in right away..
Got a free tshirt, as part of the ongoing Sale-a-bration (This is the back of the tshirt)
I have to mention about this remote. Its all metal, I can probably break someone's head with it if I wanted to.. Even to insert the batteries, I had to unscrew 6 screws on the back...
Unfortunately, since my setup is not complete yet, I coudln't actually get to hear the cd player play. I just powered it On to check everything works..
So far, so good.. touch wood.
Thanks, yup cant wait for it to play. I will have to wait for my A/V room to get ready.. once that is done, eeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa!
