EMOTIVA --SALE ON JULY 4th

Subhash,

My plan is to go for a UMC-1 little later. Right now I am using my Onkyo 706 as a preamp. Till now I was using the same configuration but with a NAD M25 7-channel amp (bought for atleast 5 times the price of Emotiva). Emotiva XPA-5 is as good if not better than the M25 at 1/5th price. Isn't it value for money.

I am planning to sell the Onkyo 706 and upgrade to UMC-1 shortly.

I will PM you my details.

Cheers.

i have the UMC-1 , you cud chk it out ,the diff it made from using An AVR as pre is quite explosive

i do plan to add on an XPA-3 or 5

wow.... thats looking cool.... u've got one hell of a system dude.... :)
can u comment on the SQ before break-in period comparing to marantz, nad or ca amps???

would like to setup a 2 channel system purely for music by emotiva amps...
have to use them with wharf 9.5 speakers.... any opinion on which amp to buy, upa or xpa????

r the emotiva amp comes with 230V power input option???

these amps are way ahead of the amps u mentioned in terms of VFM and performance to price ratio.
These offer Raw unmatched power for the price
out of the Box the SQ is very good for 2 channel music ,it digs out very deep tight bass, the mids and highs sounds great also smooth and detailed at any levels.
FOR HT its xcellent

you cud go for either the UPA-1 mono blocks or the XPA-2 for stereo set up

Emotiva amps are built for international market ,so its 110 and 230 v it automatically detects and switches to either

The xpa-1's have now done 50hrs aprox, the sound definetly is sounding smoother and getting better by the hour

dint actually believe in break in period but it does a lot of difference

what i have done is left the Amps powered on for a couple of nights without any source playing ,its definetly making it sound better

I bought a XPA-5 during the sale. Same experience like others in terms of quality and packing. Fantastic!

I am big fan of Emotiva now. Great value for money for a high end product.

Borderlinx/DHL combo works super fast. I got it in 3 days flat.

Cheers.

Hi Anil

What is cost of XPA -5 and what was your shipping/duty cost apart from that.
Is it working cheaper using the borderlinx/DHL combo than the Emotiva's Fedex combo.

I heard there is a dealer in Bangalore who sells Emotiva. is it cheaper than what he sells.

is it possible for someone travelling from US to India to bring it along with him or her. what are the charges incurred by that mode as the equipment weight is more than the allowed limit. will there be customs duty while bringing it with them.

and are Emotive speakers good or can we buy other better combinations in India itself which may be cheaper

cheers

Bharath
