Eversolo z8 dac connecting with Iphone

Recently bought Eversolo Z8 dac. Had Iphone 16 plus.connected to dac using c cable charger given with phone. Dac connected through rca of my avr. Not gettinv the audio from speakers whike dac is connected to Iphone. Pls guide.

Not observed any message we will get jn Iphone

when you connect a USB DAC, in the place where we change volume, it should be disabled. And it should show like it is playing via the DAC name (similar to how it says playing via speakers or playing via headphones)

On phone it is displaying Eversolo and Headphones. Where as connected dac to avr to listen music from speakera

Yes. Iphone shows connected to Eversolo through Headphones. Where as i want to listen music through speakers which are connected to avr

Do you see this kind of warning when you connect your iPhone to DAC? If yes, you will need camera adapter kit so that you can hookup both charger and the DAC simultaneously.



When my DAC connects to iPhone successfully, here is how it looks in Spotify.

First not seen. As after connecting dac to Iphone
Headphone sumbol appears and when ckicked shown eversolo with headphones. Today I will connect again and take pic.

I have clicked on other device.
Increased tge volume on dac and avr.
Song played with 44.1 only not 48khz or 192

The sample rate depends on the source and as far as I can recall, both Apple Music and Spotify, by default runs in 44.1. Try Tidal or Qobuz and play some HiRes music, you will see sample rate changing.

Though I have limited knowledge but if you connect a computer instead, you can play with sample rate but not on phone.

Also, if you are thinking that playing at higher sample rates will change things drastically, it is not so.

tidel and qobuz has no subscription in India.
Downloaded apple app for windows in laptop and tgrough usb B connected laptop to dac. Displayed 48khz.
