Miracle has quoted Rs 2720+ 13.5 % VAT + 10% ED for the tranny(400VA, 220V Pr and 18V Sec), dimensions are: OD 136, HT 63mm wt 4.1 kg. Delivery time is 1 week. This rate is for 1-10 pieces. If at least 6-8 people come together I can try and negotiate a special deal. otherwise I will plan to buy my requirements by next week.

If I change the secondary voltage specs to 12.5V , will special deal apply?

I want to experiment with how much a tranny can influence the sound for my preamp.

I think 400VA might be a bit too much for a pre, irrespective of the voltage rating...

Your preamp will need a much smaller tranny, we can try and club it along with our order, no problem.Is it for the GG-BTW, my GG is making sweet music here, drop by some time when you have some time to listen.

The best bet for the B1 is to get both the board and matched FET's from passdiy.com and get the other parts from an online vendor...

Please give me the rating of the torroidal you want and I may be able to get it at a lesser price. I get a lot of torroids wound from a firm in singapore.Only problem is my consignment arrives once every month,(otherwise it is not at all economical) I just got myself a 35-0-35 5 Amps torroid for 2500/- Miracle's very very extravagent and nothing so about their torroidals. Trust me on this one.
