Congrats! Please post your first impressions with some photos. Wait for the 5.1 setup to get settled and use them for some days then if needed you can extend to 7.1 later.

Thanks,how long will it take for the speakers to to get settled in?I watched Avataar and Braveheart on bluray.Both were good.I did not like the sound quality from my dvd discs.In dvd i found dts to be sharper and louder than dolby,any specific reasons?

dali z1 is rear ported speaker right. Is it ok to keep it this close to the wall. Or its a sealed bs. correct me if im wrong.

Hi,they are rear ported,and there is some gap from the wall.I do not have any other solution.The speakers can be hung on a sturdy screw.The performance is also good.

And to go with my set up,bought around 35 Blu Ray discs

are u getting all crisp/deep bass sounds.?

i was under impression that no way X1100 cud do so much wonder.

wish i cud audition from u first before buying one for my own

Hi, I had a dealer demo Dali Zensor 7 who had rigged it with Denon 1000 and it was good.Mine is Zensor 5.Sound seems pretty good,my room is not acoustically sound or well suited for a home theater and am not an audiophile or an expert.Just getting to know my avr and fiddling with various settings.You are welcome to audition my system

No,i did not and my mindset was on Denon since a lot of suggestions were that it was good for movies and it paired well with Dali and sometimes Onkyo had a problem with hdmi board .

My dali.setup came.today
I opted maranatz sr5009, and.havent.tested it yet

And adding projector soon. In my setup

Redesigning entire room so shud take near a month to establish.everything

Hi, How does the Boston Acoustics ASW650 Subwoofer sound? Hope it is a 10 inch Bass reflex subwoofer. Is it Loud, does it go deep, is it tight? How good is this sub for movies and music.

Am using my set up only for Movies.The Boston sub was well recommended as a value for money product and sounds pretty good.You should give it a hearing personally .

Good to see this. I'm planning to get Denon 1100w and when doing a bit of online research, I find that some have described a problem - that if the power goes off, then you have to reconfigure it again.

Is it so? Also, please pm me the price of both Denon 1100w and Dali Zensor 5. I'm planning to get a pair of Dali Zensor 3, to start with. Any idea about its current price?

yes even i remember reading it at several places about problems with bluetooth. I have short listed x1100w since this is the cheapest AVR with Audyssey MultEQ XT. I hope the bluetooth issue is not that frequent.
