Hi guys,
This is gonna be my first home theater build. Got to know many things about home theater after joining this forum. Now my room is getting renovated and i will be buying a led tv and home theater.
My budget for home theater right now 30-35k and can't increase it rite now. I watch a lot of action movies and listen to pop and hip-hop music and like bass heavy system. Source for movies and music mostly will be usb pendrive and when i am not at home will be used to watch tv by other members at home.
My room size is 12*16.

Go with sony HT-IV300 India fisrt D2H home theater which has a receiver included and ur pend drive can br attached which plays any format available including ur MKV too NFC n Bluetooth is also a feature n price 20k iam using it in it has some serious sound to deliver visit this HT-IV300 : Home Theatre Component System : Home Theatre System : Sony India

Thanks for the suggestion but i want to stay away from sony, samsung and lg. These brands don't sound much good for the money they are asking.

Then i think u should go for bose it gud for money u spend

Really?! :)
Most of us think exactly the opposite.

To the OP, as your room is quite big and 16ft is somewhat long throw, so you would better of with separate AVR & bookshelves. You may start with 2.1 if budget is a concern for now.

Hey buddy don't mind, but do you work for sony or something..?
Because i have seen you post the exact same message on many threads and it seems like you are doing advertisement rather than helping anyone.
Just asking[emoji4]

Checkout in hifimart there is a pioneer AVR for less than 20k. I can't comment on its sound quality though. Also you will find a Boston Acoustic A25 which a very decent pair of speaker for the price. Subwoofer will be a bit difficult to accommodate within this budget.

Look for Yamaha avr if possible within or around 20k.

Going separate with a 35K budget will be very difficult, HTiB is the way to go unless, you plan to have a 2.o system with an AVR and add rest later in stages .....

Which HTiB i can get in my budget that would suit my liking. And if i decide go separate, buy AVR + 2.0 speakers rightnow and add 15-20k in a few months what best config i can get.
As i earlier mentioned that i like system that have good bass and without it i always feel like something is mising.
I know 2.0 setup will not be great in bass responce but i can stick with it because i can always add a good subwoofer.
Thanks for replying to my query as i am total noob when in HT.

My suggestion would be to buy a good top AVR and pair it with a pair of full range floor standers and sub if possible.

Then build the rest of the system when budget permits.

I am saying the above because no HTIB would be able to fulfill your requirements of bass heavy music, in your case pop and hip hop.

I am also thinking the same that HTIB cant fullfil my requirement of bass. For that i'll have to go separate.
Any suggestions about avr+ floor standing combo in my budget would be appreciated.
Thanks

Heed to the suggestion of the experienced forum members. If you choose to go with an AVR and 2 front speakers now instead of some HTiB, in the long run the theater experience will be many folds better than whats possible with HTiBs. With 15-20K later add a sub to add to the movie experience, this bodes well for your preferred music genres as well.

You may also consider the following HTIB that comes to your budget
Pioneer HTP-072 5.1 (25k)
Pioneer HTP-323ES (Powered Subwoofer) (35k-38k)
Harman Kardon AVR70 + HKTS-5.1 Speakers (Powered Subwoofer) (35k)
Denon DHT-X500 (38 - 40k)

Again it would be very difficult to get a separate 5.1 with floorstands by just adding 15, 20K. But any way If I have to start/suggest, go with DENON x500 for around 25K. Add Polk Tsx330 for around 30K.

This itself will land you with 55K ....... then later you can add center (10K), rear(12-15K) and sub (30K) ......

I am not sure if you can get an AVR cheaper than 20-25K, but if you do ...... opt only DENON, ONKYO or YAMAHA. Floorstands as well I think TSx are the cheapest decent floorstands available .......

Or look for used deal if you can manage and are ok with used product ....
