Grey patch on lcd screen

Anybody having a 40 or a 42 inch Panasonic LCD facing the same problem with the panel?

My 3 years old Panasonic PDP has 'red-dot' bleeding issue. And its worsening day-by-day. I guess you get what you pay for.

EDIT: Damn, have I become old or something :( My TV is LG PDP and NOT a Panasonic LCD!

2 days back when I was watching peherdar somebody logged same complaint to channel for LCD panel issues ,and even after so many deinel and not accepted fault from Panasonic earlier , now he has got commitment for panel replacement , you can also approach to media channel for showing them correct path if they are careless and not responding task and there duty .

Hi Roseboy
I don't think if i have the patience to do all that
But why in India do we have to fight for everything? I guess Panasonic is using a sub-standard panel in the first case so any replacement might have the same problem or even more problems. Then again you fight with them asking for another replacement which is never going to happen

I have stopped communicating with Panasonic and also there was no phone calls from their side. Remember, their tech head was suppose to visit me

But I am surprised why I don't see any other thread with the same issue even in budget Panasonic LCD's

Just wanted to know if this a one off problem or their entire budget range of LCD's have some sort of backlight bleeding

hi as photos it clearly seems a Panel problem,
1. Panosonic is using IPS Tech. Panel results in Poor Contrast.
2. Panel Assy with Front cover is so tight means Front Plastic part of your TV is so tightned in bottom area which results in light Leakage.

If you are presently having tv with you you can open tv & loose Screw in that area you will get better result.
it is not faulty design. it is faulty process issue.
