First of all, check quality of picture, performance of TV, and all the basics. Then select the 3D model. While selecting 3D, decide whether you wish to for active or passive. I prefer the later, i.e.
, passive 3D.

But at 70k, you will find that your options are not too many. Also you have ruled out plasma.

How much screen size 32 or 40 or 42 or 46 or 50 ?

I don't believe that there are any sub-40" 3D models. For enjoying maximum joy, the larger the size, the better, with due consideration to viewing distance.

LG has it LM6200 & LM6400 in 32 inch currently...

i just want to buy 40" or 42" at list...32" will be small...i checked lg 42" lm6200,it was good according to my budget..[/QUOTE]

dont check just specs.....pls demo at showrooms multi time with very good hd files.or blu ray disks...picture quality is very important...u may like/dislike colour palatte of some specific panel..
just an idea..if possible in the showroom try plasma 3d...after looking at plasma..u may change ur mind..

going for the passive 3D would be the best option as per me as they would allow you to overcome any health related issues and also will provide you the best PQ.
You have a good budget in your hand and you can good model.
I would suggest you to go for LG as they are having the best 3D models as per now.

Hmm. Anyway, 32" may be too small to fully enjoy 3D.

Have Seen Lg 42 Lm6690 & LM6700.Its good but price is too much MRP 97k. The best price which he offered me was 86k>if it comes in8k i was ready to buy.I have seen lm6200 too. That too was gud the only difference was panel & few features...Just tell me which one shuld i go for?

First of all, I request you not to use SMS text language. This is not as per forum etiquette.

All I can say that, do not buy any TV because of 3D. Consider that as a bonus feature. Trust me, even if you are a 3D crazy dude, you will not watch 3D for more than 20% of your time; and I am being very generous here. Why?
  • Because there is very little 3D content as of today
  • Because to download a 3D half-SBS movie (typically 15 GB), you will take ages
  • Because 3D is tiring to watch, even passive 3D for that matter.
  • Because 3D TV (as well as Cinema) is not natural and anything unnatural is not good.
  • Because 3D as a technology is still evolving
Concentrate on the best PQ that your budget can offer.

That said, I was not very much impressed by LM6690 also. And I was looking at the 46" (because the bigger it is, the better the 3D experience). At 124k or so (don't remember exact price quoted), it was appearing overpriced also. Hence even though I prefer passive 3D, I went for plasma because of PQ.

at 97k try premium plasmas of 50 inch..........65 inch are very very expensive....
or buy a projector around 100k...........that picture will blow u away.....
just for 3d dont pay 1 lakh.......if you are ready to pay 1 lakh...buy a 50 inch plasma of best picture possible which 1 lakh price tag can offer...

about 3d contents and 3d craze......+1 to the above post......trust me.
