help me out to buy 3d led..

I think you are quite moved by the LM series from LG but since they are not under your budget so you are moving away from them.
You can have a look at lower end models from LG too which comes under your budget and I think there won't be much difference in terms of PQ and apps in them.

While searching for TV I demoed UA40EH6030R and I was quite impressed with its PQ inspite of being a plasma loyal. But if you want to shift to plasma and have budget around 1L then Panasonic 50ST50 is the best model as of now to own.

going for the passive 3D would be the best option as per me as they would allow you to overcome any health related issues and also will provide you the best PQ.
You have a good budget in your hand and you can good model.
I would suggest you to go for LG as they are having the best 3D models as per now.

can u please help me?which one should i go for? Tata sky HD or Airtel dish tv?

First of all, I request you not to use SMS text language. This is not as per forum etiquette.

All I can say that, do not buy any TV because of 3D. Consider that as a bonus feature. Trust me, even if you are a 3D crazy dude, you will not watch 3D for more than 20% of your time; and I am being very generous here. Why?
  • Because there is very little 3D content as of today
  • Because to download a 3D half-SBS movie (typically 15 GB), you will take ages
  • Because 3D is tiring to watch, even passive 3D for that matter.
  • Because 3D TV (as well as Cinema) is not natural and anything unnatural is not good.
  • Because 3D as a technology is still evolving
Concentrate on the best PQ that your budget can offer.

That said, I was not very much impressed by LM6690 also. And I was looking at the 46" (because the bigger it is, the better the 3D experience). At 124k or so (don't remember exact price quoted), it was appearing overpriced also. Hence even though I prefer passive 3D, I went for plasma because of PQ.

TataSky is expensive and has less HD channels but I would rate TataSky customer service better. As regards to HD channels in TS, things may change in near future with the launch of the new G-Sat 10 Satellite that they will be hiring/using.

thanx for your info..i have heard about airtel service.Just want to know that will it be a good deal to go with Tata Sky HD because i head that they are going to increase HD channels price @200 & they are having less number of HD channels(i guess 10 only) compare to airtel.

They are not going to increase the price... They have already increased it.

With your budget, you can look at Samsung UA40EH6030R, LG LW4500 and LM6200 as well as Toshiba VL20 3D LED TV. And just as a case in point, viewing is entirely dependent on your home setup. These sizes won't be suitable for living rooms but would do the job for a regular sized bedroom..

Go for Videocon d2h. I am currently using it and the reason i went for it are,
- 22 HD channels which includes Movies Now HD, Star Movies HD, Z studio HD, Star Sports HD...also two 24hr HD music channel also.
- Tata Sky requires you to subscribe for SD channels of the HD channels you want and this makes no sense and makes it more expensive
- 449 for mega South Indian HD pack - 22HD channels and 300 SD channels
- 1080i resolution

The only negative used to be that Tata Sky and Airtel offered 5.1 dolby sound where as videocon does not (though now 2 HD channels are offered with 5.1 dolby through spdif out requiring an AV receiver)

Enjoy.

^^^ Dolby Digital and surround sound will be important only in case with movie channels and also in presence an ht. But I am hearing that d2h is adding 5.1 sound on most channels.
