Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some advice on audio extractors. I want to separate audio from an HDMI signal so I can run it through a separate speaker system without affecting the video output. I’ve seen a few options for an audio extractor online, but I’m concerned about audio quality—I’d prefer minimal loss or lag.

Are there any brands or models you’d recommend? Also, should I look for features like 5.1 surround sound support or compatibility with different HDMI versions? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

HMDI = digital signal.
Isn't it already deteriorated compared to the pure analog soundwave signal produced from the musical instruments?

Apologies if it appears like trolling.

Which device are you getting the HDMI output from ?

And what are you feeding the Audio and Video signals into ?

Knowing that will help provide a solution.
