Here comes New ONKYO 3500

Bought 3500 for 25500/- from the CR park dealer in Delhi.

All, I am seriously considering buying this for my LG Cinema 3D Smart TV, any inputs from someone already has been using this HTS (Onkyo HTS 3500), But yesterday, one of my friend has bought HTS 3400 in Reliance Digital for 28k and with Philips BDP5200 3D Blu-Ray Player for just 2k as an offer... The diffference is pretty much the USB connectivity and it offers playing mp3 files without switching on anything, say a Bluray with USB.

go for HT-S3500.........3400 has now been discontinued and replaced with 3500. Some forum members have been lucky to get the 3500 for as low as 25k.

It's so sad how its 13000 Rs abroad and 25-28k in india. More than double the cost. The dealers must be making a good bit of profit off them pricing them 28k under ruppee depreciation excuse.

dont buy it for music.
get an int amp sonodyne cia and a pair of speakers bookshelf from sonodyne/wharfedale...
way better than onk 3500 for music purpose...

Thanks again for the advice but today I checked Pioneer HTP 522 and the music quality is good for me.Actually I dont want to spend on both Music and HTas my room size is 12*14.So zero in on a decent HT with good Music along with movies.HTP 522 is for 30k at Delhi.A bit more for my budget but a possible solution to my requirment.Is it a good system and also is the price fine.Please suggest

36.5K for Onkyo 3500 alone? Ideally it should be around 30K and many FMs have bought it for around 28K.

3500 at 36.5 is real high...anyway if the payment is made in emi..go again into the shop and see if any rough negoyiation helps.chances very less......sorry mate

Reliance digital is giving (Free!) Samsung Galaxy (don't remember the model number but its around 9k) phone with 3400.
Otherwise the price is around 24k. Please ask the price without mobile phone offer.
