budget is 50-60 k , pls suggest

iam confused to decide between avr or amp,
i listen to music only, and want it to be crisp and clear , like a live performance.
right now i have a Philips Af - 834 , vintage turntable. sounds good but i belive cartridge needs to be replaced.

iam happy that the new movies vinyl are comming back, but are they using master print for manufactring them, or what iam listning to is a fabricated music... just curious

Hi Tanoj, Welcome to the forum. If you take some time off and search the forum, you will get plenty of information on the forum. BTW, in your budget of 50-60k, I'm doubtful if you would get a Pre, power amps, LP and speakers unless you go on the pre-used route. I just bought an Acoustic Portrait Pre and Power amps which itself cost more than the budget that you have mentioned for the entire setup; Just to give you some idea.

You can go for a TT, intergrated Amp and speakers.. once you search the forum and get an idea about what you need to buy, you could then visit some shops in Hyd. Also ask the fellow members from your city for recommendations.

within that budget i dont think you should be looking to go separates imo in the amp section. a good speaker around 25k is the usher. you can also check out the bookshelves of monitor audio bronze, kef q series, wharfedale diamond 10 series. again at that budget bookshelves give you better bang for the buck and def better sound quality. as for amps once you've decided on your speakers you can audition nad, cambridge, marantz...
