Bro, you have to use same yard stick for all brands. Why so much hatred to Toshiba / hisense?

LG even does this during Diwali time. May even other reputed brands.

The website mentioned U5050 and U7980 but not U8080, so I guess they are not launching it right now. It's probably going the Hisense way and why not considering Hisense is the parent brand. New brands always come with the risk of longevity.

He mentioned that he doesn't appreciate such moves from any company, so he is talking in general. His concern is valid because Toshiba is a relatively new brand with new products. Other brands have been in India for long now. I don't think LG/others do such things when they are launching new models.

Well this require a separate thread.I will try to make a separate thread in the coming days about this.Anyways if you are mostly watching SDR then you are better of with the bright LED tvs i have mentioned above.
 
I think we should also have a made in india thread where products of indian origin / those which are manufactured in india by foreign companies are discussed.
I'm sure it will help many people which are interested in buying indian products.
