I have an old Sony Mini Hi-Fi (120W x2 @ 6ohms) with screwed up software. I can only play it using my laptop/iPod/Mobile on Game Aux but then that's a dependency I don't like. Now I am planning to replace it with a new music system. My requirements:
1. It's for AUDIO in Stereo mode purpose only.
2. Player/Receiver must have USB input. I won't use anything else.
3. Should be able to play WAV/PCM and MP3 music files.
4. Floor Standing speakers. Preferably 3-way bass-reflex.
5. Must have equal or more power than my present Sony Mini Hi-Fi.
6. Will be used indoors in a 12 ft x 12 ft room.
7. Budget is between a :licklips: 50K to a :sad: 80K.
8. Can buy these in Hyderabad or if available online in India.
0. IFF I can buy and connect a vinyl / turntable to it, please suggest this too - I can stretch my budget a bit! :yahoo:
I call myself an audiophile in the lanes around but would never dare so in this forum
so please suggest what should I go for - like I am a 5 year old.
