How to connect Sony Bravia EX300 to sterio setup?

I have an Sony Bravia EX300 and want play its sound through the sterio setup (pre-power amps).

How do I do this in terms of connecting the TV to the amp?

Hi Rohit,

Are you talking about cable tv? If yes, you can directly hook up the STB to the stereo amp. Any other devices such as dvd player, etc.........can also be hooked up to the amp.

Hmm. I tried connecting headphone out but sound was not coming from left speaker so stopped it there. I will need to check this again.

Hmm.. I was trying to identify the LR out of the TV.
Below is the connection diagram. Can you please tell me which of these ports needs to be used?
There are LR ports on left and also on the right side (just above the headphone out on the right side)

I remember I had tried to connect using both these LR connections but there was no sound!

So, I want to confirm which is the LR out port that I should be using.

Hi Rohit,

Are you talking about cable tv? If yes, you can directly hook up the STB to the stereo amp. Any other devices such as dvd player, etc.........can also be hooked up to the amp.

There is no set top box provided by the cable provider. It is direct cable transmission the old style.
