how to remove apple id from i phone 6

Hi all,
Recently I sold my i phone 6.I get a message that apple id is required.That will be my apple id.What can be done now.He can use my id to open the phone,but thereafter is there a way to remove that id and he creates his own id

Did you do a factory reset before selling? then he doesn't get access to your account. Otherwise, login to the cloud service and change your password.

Hi! If you have another Apple Device, you may want to go to Settings > Your Apple ID (tap on top where your name may be displayed) > Choose your iPhone 6 (in the list of devices visible beneath) > Remove from Account.

The above would remove your Apple ID on your ex iPhone 6 and the person who owns the device can activate the device with a new Apple ID.
