Deal all,

I have been a member since long but not an active one.

I need your help and guidance.. Need to but a Amp n 5.1 speaker setup for around 1.5 lacs.

This is not a dedicated room but living room size around 20X14 which has window on right side and left side is open and continues to the dining area, Front and back have walls.
PLS CHK ATTACHMENT(Red dots are speaker placement)

I am not a audiophile but love good quality sound..

Pls advice which system should I go for .

I am having a similar room setup. Had the screen in the long end and my current HT (onkyo HTIB old) was not powerful to have enveloping sound for the 20 ft distance. Hence shifted the setup to the short side (on the 14 ft) with a viewing distance of around 10 ft.
There was a remarkable difference and able to feel the bass. Now I,m in the market too for an upgrade with relatively similar budget as yours.
Expecting help to know whether having the HT setup on the shorter side is recommended or have to change back to the longer side after the upgrade.

Good luck on your search!

I had auditioned dali zensor 7 today found it to be better all rounder than paradigm.

Now am thinking or auditioning PSB & B&W..

Pls suggest budget 2 lacs 5.1 with amp

Give us details on what is your movie:music ratio. Also have you auditioned any ht on your own before. For your room i feel dali zensor series will be good as they are good for music as well as movies. Polks are more for movies as per many people. But in my opinion the polks perform well for music as well. Rti series of polk is better than tsx. See if you can go in for a demo.
