HTiB for 25K or better to get AE5's?

Hi,
In the quest for better audio I am now looking for a new HT system. MY HK AVR15 has of course seen its age, right now I am on a very tight budget of 25K. Whats the best I can get in this budget? I only want it for Games via PS3 thru HDMI and will connect my PC too thru HDMI for movies. So it is a must that the receiver has HDMI.

If I cant find anything good, in my budget then I will simply invest in AudioEngine A2 or A5 till I can afford better equipment, I am fine with good quality Stereo Sound than low quality Surround if you know what I mean.... Do let me know if anything low end is worth looking at.

yamaha 5.1 guess its yht-195 for 25k
onkyo 5.1 3100 for 19k +hdmi dvd player
logitech z-5500 (best for gaming and movies) 17k + xtreamer or htpc (9-10k)

however as u stated u gonna use it for ps3 games i bet logi can be u best bet for 17k or less. its got optical and co-axial digital in for 5.1
and onbaord decoder for dolby dts..

You can look for Onkyo 3300 with your local dealer.. one member here got it for 23K.. Onkyo 3300 can process audio via HDMI cable (even HD audio).. no need of extra optical or cox cable for surround sound..

onkyo 3300 is recetly launched.. however i wud still go for lozi-z5500 as u need for gaming and 8-9k less of that of an onkyo.

Philips HTs are great VFMs in the 15-20k range. Do demo them alongside onkyo. Few philips models >20k easily surpass onkyos around the same price.

You cannot go wrong with AE5 for sterio sound. This will easily surpass any HTIB in the range for sterio. But be noted that these cannot be further connected as part of a 5.1 system when you wish to upgrade.

AE5's bass will not be sufficient for movie viewing compared to HTIBs. Select depending on your % usage.
