HTiB for LED 42

i need suggestions for HT among onkyo,yamaha,denon.my budget is under 500$.my room size is 17*15.i need good bass for music and movies.my friend is asking me to buy sony.i'm confused between these brands..other than the mentioned brands are also welcome.do suggest me:sad:

Don't get tempted by Sony or any other mass market product. In your budget you can buy Onkyo 3500, Yamaha 296/298, Denon 1312XP. 17*15 is a fairly large room so you may need a powerful subwoofer. Instead of these HTiBs, a step by step upgradation is best. Start with an AVR like Denon 1612 and a pair of book shelves now. Add a sub if you want extra thump. But you will need to increase the budge considerably. If you are tight on budget consider the above HTiBs.
