Srinivasan, very noble thought. Just to simplify the process, post on this thread the LPs you need. Whatever you think the LPs are worth, make a donation to Vasantha Trust. If I understand Kapil's intention, this is exactly what he had in mind.

This reminds me of my old days when i used to listen my dad's Player, i tried my best to keep to alive till 90's before it broke for good. I have those LP's still and someday hope to get a player soon. It's really a noble cause of sharing such value items , i hope the zonal members the share LP's within the city, so that we can appreciate it more.

Yes thats another vinyl advantage. You can explore different types of music. I like osibisa african music. Komfo (High Priest) from their osibirock album is just superb.

@sachu... you are most welcome to adopt them an the Roberta Flack Lp... That one was one of the watershed moments in her career... I would have loved to have it... but then it would defeat the purpose of this exercise.... that is something both santosh and I have been trying to be disciplined about....

but yeah! enjoy guys! discover some old gems and have fun!
