Is LG a crappy company ?

I got very bad experiance samsung cervice center in nashik ( ac + TV) .After few days i come to know that the cervice center been moved to some other party due to complents.Now i come to know the new cervice center is more worst than before.

I have many products of LG ,they are more reliable and less costly.Even the cervice is better in nashik

I reqwest don't go for samsung without conformation of the good aftersell quality in your area.

I have bought LG42PW450 3 months back.
My opnion
1. SD content looks good, as the quality of SD content itself is not for
HDTV its always going to be some blurr.
2. HD is awesome, it looks like watching real stuff through the window.
3. 3D is good, I watched IMAX movies and some other stuff you get the
feeling of depth.
4. 3D popping out is limited as its 42 inch and this will be the issue with any 42 inch tv
5. 2d to 3D no use.
6. 3D goggles you need to get used to them.

Yes, and they make no bones about it. Please go for the Panasonic Plasma TV.

It is too bad and shameful for LG and bad for THX as well having certified it ?

THX is as crappy as LG. They will certify anything these days. Remember the incident with the Lexicon BD player?

Where did you get imax movies ?

getting 3d movies is always hedek.

I belive 3d is active 3d,what is the cost of the goggles?what is charging method

This model 42PW450 is no longer featured in the LG website. Does LG withdrawn it ?
Only 50PW450 is available on the website.

Most of the dth player only dicleared capability of 3d but no activities.

I fill sitting in barbar shop who make the half shave of all the customers so no body will run away

Tata sky is facing a bandwidth crunch due to failure of one comm satellite launch. Right now it has tied up with Videocon d2h for HD channels. Expect it to resolve bandwidth issues by early-mid next year.

I think we must James Cameron as whatever little 3D content that is available is post Avatar period.

That was the situation with HD till last year. Buying 3D now is some kind of future proofing. But the sad part is unlike HD, there is no accepted standard for 3D.

This episode happened way back when CRTs beyond 21" inch was luxury (at least in this part of the country). LG came to our colony for demo- TVs and others items. there was this 29" color TV which had 6 way speakers and could show 36 PIP among other "astonishing" features (according to the sales person). I was awed by the 6 way speakers and started to look through the grill. To my utter disbelief, I could see through and through the unit. I asked the sales person about the speakers and he'd showed me the 6 grill plates. On peeping through the heat slits, i saw that there were 2 only huge (in relative terms) speakers facing up. So the idea was that sound will come out through the 6 speaker grills. So "Saar, that's 6-way speaker for you!!"- there were 6 ways/paths through which you will able to experience "surround sound". The only thing that was surrounding me were fools. One of my neighbors, i believe bought one.
