Issues with Skype Camera in Sony HX850

Skype camera connected to my Sony KDLHX850 has some issues.I don't know why it occurs..
Skype users at the other end can't see the video for about 20 to 30 seconds.It occurs several times during a video call..
Even in TV i cant see my video during the outage.
I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
I'm using BSNL unlimited broadband connection ,speed would be around 512 kbps. Both TV and Skype camera was bought 20 days back

If the audio remains OK throughout the call and only video drops then its likely a bandwidth issue..

If the audio ALSO drops then it can either be a hardware issue or a network issue & will need troubleshooting.. try placing your laptop in the same location as TV & simulating if the Skype calls go through fine through that.
 
I think it is a problem with the inernet bandwidth. 512kbps is not enough for streaming videos. Even small youtube videos stutter with my 512kbps connection. You need atleast 2mbps for smooth video.
 
512 kbps means 512/8~64 kBps. So I would suggest to check if the video quality can be reduced like it happens in cam chats, etc to conserve bandwidth or even reduce the framerate if that option is available.
 
Exactly.. Audio was fine throughout the call but video drops frequently...Should be issue with Bandwidth...Since it is a rural are i have to stick to BSNL..No go
 
I have HX850 and skype camera. Works very well. I am on Airtel 2MBPS plan. Your issue sounds like bandwidth issue to me.

Sound like this is not the issue of your camera, something wrong is there with internet connection. Might be other side user has some distraction in their network. And check if audio also has some distraction in between then must review your hardware.
I also experienced the same issue while using Skype on my colleague LM7600, but there I recognized the network issue and later it was fixed. So go through your network once you might get the solution.
