am trying to install JBL 4645C THEATER SUB TO MY HOME theater sized 20*13*8 room

any suggestions of amps....

Crown DSi 1000 in bridged mode is sufficient

For that room size 4645c is more than sufficient..
Coz the SPL you will get is 120+ db with 1000 watts( using dsi 1000)
115db is reference level.. above it will never be used.. so you already have 5+ db headroom..

4642a is 4ohm and it gives me advantage of dual and also i can go with low power amps so i decided
4642a and dsi4000 i dont know how its gonna be in 20*13*9 room

Why will you need 2 ?
Place it properly and EQ it properly . . Single will be sufficient..
I hope you have placement flexibility.

Amplifier recommended by the company is based on - extracting the max spl from the subwoofer.
However Max spl of your subwoofer will be above 133db in your room. .

Company recommend those Amplifiers considering the fact that these subs will be kept in large theatres.
