unconfirmed news is that john abraham starrer jhootha hi sahi will b released on lp format as well.
last time this happened was with dil to pagal hai. priced at 5k inr, it wasnt a regular release but a colectors memorabilia sorta stuff with posters et al.
lets hope this one is a regular release n not a gimmick to siphon our savings. if priced at about 350/- i m sure many of us would be takers. i hope music release on this format is revived.

AFAIK the last indian vinyl release was VEER ZAARA. This was a three lp set which was retailing for 5k-10k depending how big BAKRA one was. I got one set at Rs.299/- (MRP price) directly bought by my friend from Yash Raj Film's office in Mumbai.

Anyways, JHOOTHA HI SAHI LP would be a good buy if the music is good and if the recording takes advantage of the medlum

That time lps were not being stocked by legal stores & the roadside vendors made great killing saying that they imported the stuff directly from UK and US.

Wow! Don't I feel old, when people actually ask what a LP is. LP = 'Long playing' record. Also, a LP record is one that plays at 33 RPM (revolutions per minute).

hiten, in times when youngsters cant even be bothered to play a cd instead of mp3s on ipods, i dont share your hope of them getting into lps!

Doc, go to the rhythm house website, on the main page is a little box on the right, where you can add your email id and underneath you can write out your request. they will respond back within minutes! and will charge a nominal shipping amount.... the LP's got delivered to them yesterday! And I am getting a copy delivered to my doorstep today!
