jhootha hi sahi!!

I picked up the LP last week from rhythm house mumbai. Nice mastering, sounds good but only hiccup is the price. Wish it was lower as the CD is priced at 150 bucks. Around 300 would have been good price.

Got it delivered yesterday from SAREGAMA. good packing and timely delivery.
Songs are OK, but listening on LP is sheer joy.

For the first time in my life I am listening to a BRAND NEW LP. :yahoo:
Rest of my collection is from second hand market or from relatives who have a damaged TT.

The main reason for purchasing was to encourage LP production.

I too had ordered from Saregama - my bit to say please get more releases on LP.

However, contrary to the opinion here, didnt think the sound quality was that great - the sound is muddled on a number of tracks - specially noticable in Do nishaaniyan and Pam Para for example... :(

Still - am all for more releases on vinyl format!!

Well, JHS did get released. As did Tees Maar Khan ( though I am not sure why T-Series doesn't even bother to mention about it on its website). And now, Patiala House is the next in the line, I believe

Regarding VEER ZAARA - still trying and hoping to get it. Had checked with YRF office at Mumbai - they said they were out of stock.

Jhootha Hi Sahi is easily available at Rhythm House in Mumbai.
Didn't find Tees Maar Khan there when I went. Though I saw it on their online catalogue.

Placed an order for the Jhoota hi sahi Lp with SAREGAMA on the 2nd of NOV 2010, expected to get it by 12th.Called up their Kolkatta office and they were good enough to respond to my query with regard to the delivery. It has been dispatched through First Flight couriers.they are trying to streamline the Vinyl issues so more is expected in the next few months to come.......
Regards
Srinivas

i today bought TMK, Patiala House & Jhootha Hi Sahi.
although i dont like all of the above too much (got it for kids and my wife) but i still went ahead and bought it because if we do not support to the companies that the vinyls are in demand then they would not come up with more
i am not being partial to any music label or album but just trying to make a point to show to the music labels that we are there to buy if you come up with good albums

To bring up an old topic, anybody knows of the possibility for further indian vinyl release.....Guess not much has been released after 2012.

Hits of SRK has been released by Yashraj Music recently. It's got tracks from Fan, Chak De and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
