Received Alfred Hitchcock Volume 1 and 2 Bluray From Amazon UK, got this on a Sale and the 14 discs cost around Rs 3500:yahoo:.

But the only issue was had to pay Rs 462 as a customs fee :sad: and this is the first time I had to pay this amount out of my 10 plus items ordered from Amazon Uk, So FM's from Chennai be cautious as the customs people have started acting now.

Can anyone confirm what is the percentage they usually charge and from most of the FM's heard that this fee will be charged only when the order is above INR 5000 but I had ordered only for 30 pounds.

I got the Hitchcock 14 Movies DVD for under 2K. First one was never delievred by India post, when I complained, they sent me another one by Courier, reached me in 3 days. So no customs. First time in Mumbai.

Else, if delivered by IndiaPost, they charges almost 45% of the total value (incl shipping).
