Lcd/led perchase (help)

Good evening friends this is my first post ,i search about lcd/led on google and found this forum , i want to buy LCD or LED so need ur advise. I found these two models
SAMSUNG LN40C630 LCD & SAMSUNG UA40D5000 LED. Iam surprize with price of these two models both are in between 70 to 75 thousands rupees . Led suppose to be more expansive then lcd wright???? Than why their is no difference in price of these two models. Which 1 is better in above two models in SD PQ and SOUND QUALITY with dish tru hd stb .

SAMSUNG LN40C630 is a 2010 model and has long being discontinued. The price you must be seeing are prices of that year.

Besides where did you see the price of 75k? Check here: http://www.naaptol.com/price/743914-Samsung-LN40C630.html. More like 37k.

The rates that you are quoting are for which city and country - is this for India or Pakistan as you mentioned in ur 1st post (that you edited earlier)?

People here might not know about pricing in Pakistan...

yes bro these rates are from pakistan , here samsung UA40D5000 is in between 65 to 75 thousands at different online shops , and price of ln40c630 is also same don,t know why . i edited the post b/c i thought may be iam frm pakistan thats why no buddy is intersted to answering my question,,,,,,

Hi! The rates what I said were INR. Prices are going to be different in Pakistan - the exchange rate is different, the import duties must be different, tax rates are different, etc. Here in India, the "C" models were discontinued last year itself. The LCD "C" model can be at most 60% of the cost of the LED "D" model.

I think that the "D" model is from 2011. So it is also an older model. Buy the "D" model if you are getting it at 70-80% of the current years' models. Regarding price, I have no idea of Pakistan prices.

@justforkix bro i have two questions.
1- On ur given site LN40C630 price is 36 k but on same site LA40C630 price is 68000k. Are LA40C630 and LN40C630 two different models?.

2- what are ur thoughts about SAMSUNG UA40D5000 LED and SAMSUNG 40EH5000 LED is 2012 model. D5000 is march 2011 model and EH5000 is 2012 model, both are same in price around 65 to 75 k PKR . According to u which model is better in PQ AQ and FUNCTIONALITY apart from that 1 is 2011 model and other 2012 model.
Any 1 who know plz rply.

Plz need ur comments.... Saw this forum very much active on lcd/led discussions thats why join this forum in hope of getting all my questions regarding lcd/led. But now iam dispointed that apart from two membrs answers no 1 is willing to answer me ..VERY MUCH DISPOINTED ....... THINKING OF LEAVING FORUM MAY BE THIS FORUM IS ONLY FOR INDIANS , MAY BE OUTSIDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED....

I have not really checked. I honestly do not know the difference as I have not had any demo, etc.

As regards to the differences between 'D' and 'E', the website will be able to tell that. The difference will be more features in the later model, perhaps better quality, higher rate of motion flow, etc. But nothing can be taken for granted unless the sets are demo'ed in person.
