I am planning to buy the latest LG TV with 3D - 42LB750T, has anyone purchased this tv so far? If yes please provide your feedback on the TV, mainly regarding the picture quality and the new webOS smart platform.
If you have bought the tv, please suggest the price you have bought it.

I have purchased the LG 42 LB750T, the Quality is Excellent and NEW WebOS is also so good like a OS in the System. The Cost i have purchase is 75000/- rs.

Thanks for your reply, you have got the TV for a very good price. In Bangalore they are quoting too high 84k for the TV.

I am undecided between LG LB750T and Samsung H6400. There are reviews in the website for 6400 and they look very impressive. 750T does not have any reviews in the website or the forum. 6400 has a VA panel and 750T has an IPS panel, so 6400 has better black and good PQ while 750T has a good smart platform and 3D capabilities. I am thinking of buying 6400 but not sure about quality of Samsung tvs. Any advise

Why don't you demo both of them watching the same contents. Take you own contents in a pen drive and demo them both. If possible, side by side so you can compare then and there. Reading reviews or going through specs won't help, DEMO !! :)

Do consider SONY :) as it also has top class PQ and 3 years warranty.

LG webos looks promising.. but end of the day all Smart Tv's have same functionalists only UI changes. All apps are useless, they won't be useful in daily life.
If you want to taste the real power of smart features on your TV then get a chrome cast or Roku then you have all the apps in the world :ohyeah:

Samsung smart features are equally good as LG's.. Sony's 2014 lineup has pretty good interface with touch remote.. i really liked it.

So watch out PQ first and then smart features are like addon's.

Don't rush and make a wise decision buddy, all the best :)

I have negotiated price for LG 42LB 750T for 73K. I have not checked the price for Samsung 6400 yet.

Thanks for your advise. I will take a look at Sony as well, I don't think they give 3 years warranty by default. You will have to buy 2 years extended warranty.

I will take a demo of both the TVs today.

So which one did you like :) ?????

I liked the LG LB 750T, It has good picture quality and good feature set. I could not see differences in PQ on LG and Samsung 6400 even though the Samsung TV has VA panel. I demoed the initial sequence of Gravity movie.

Even I tried to search reviews about LB750T and couldn't find one:confused:

Did u check the 3D? both have different tech LG-passive & Samsung-active. How's the brightness, sharpness n colour, etc?

Any big price difference between these two?

What about LG LB6700 which has almost same spec as LB750T (except Dynamic MCI 100hz diff) but a price diff of around 4-5k?

Anyhow all the best:) Make a wise decision!

Samsung's 3D is just terrible my friend
Its continuously flickers.. i demoed it for just 1 min then i started having a headache.

Sony's Active 3D is far better than Samsung.. having said that on any given day i would vote for passive 3D :ohyeah:

HI cptkamal,

Could you please let me know from where have negotiated LG LB750t (42) for 75k. I am planning for this TV and trying to get a good deal for the same.

If you have already purchased the TV can u tell me about the over all Picture Quality of this TV. (Black level, Brightness and Contrast)

Thanks in advance !!!

Hi PRS,

I still have not bought the TV yet due to other priorities but I demoed 750T in multiple places and was satisfied with the picture quality. You can check in Devi international - Jayanagar for the price for 75K, you can get even get a better price in Barrons - electronic city (73-74K). Please be advised that Barrons does not have display of the TV's, demo the TV somewhere else and then buy in Barrons.

Kamal

Though not exactly same models,I chose LG over samsung.LG was simpler, easier to connect, flexible, more adjustable, passive 3D and looked cooler in design. Samsung 3D is active and gives headache to most.

Even though i thought smart and 3D was cool I used it very very lessand theTV served as monitor for my laptop.

Hi Kamal,

I called Barrons and checked the price of LG LB750t prices. For 42 inches they are quoting 73K and for 47 inches it is 92k. Their pricing is really impressive compare to other showrooms in Bangalore. Just want to know if they (Barrons) can be trusted with Product quality, delivery and services. Please let me know if you have any prior experience with them.

Also please let me which Digital TV(Airtel. Tatasky , videocon , others) will be a better choice for this kind of TV.

Regards,
Prs

Hello all,
I am planning to buy 47" LB750t this 15th August and hopefully I'll be updating its user interface in few days.

I have seen the demo and the first impression it left on my mind was just awesome, I have taken few pics from my camera using 3d mode and it worked really superb. I took Life of Pi movie on my pen drive and checked its viewing angle by sitting next to TV to my surprise the input I got was as if I was watching sitting infront of it, The best advantage I felt buying this tv was its display, You watch it from any angle the color, contrast, brightness everything will remain the same.

Bottom line If you want to enjoy the feel of watching movies as in theater this is the best TV you have in town.
The Quotation I got for this tv in hyderabad is Rs 94300.

They can be trusted, my friend bought Sony 42 w650 last year. His colleagues as well bought couple of TVs last year. So no worries about barrons

Would anyone please clarify how this TV stands in front of the Sony 40W900A Triluminos Display TV? I have demoed the Sony TV and found its picture quality and colors to be wonderful but I have still not demoed the LG 42LB750T. Also, would someone please clarify what does DVB-T2 stands for and how much of a necessity is it here in India, presently and in the future as well, while choosing a TV? The LG TV has DVB-T2 whereas the Sony TV does not. Thank you in advance for the replies.
