LG 42" LB750T - Any reviews/feedback

Brother, @cptkamal picked it up last week from Barrons, Electronic City for 67k, and commented that the PQ is awesome.

And you are getting it at 74k - 5k = 69k (2k more)

Please try to negotiate further. I am also planning to purchase it. If we can go together as friends we can bring it down to 65 or 66k for sure. I am also not interested in the Free Blu Ray player that they are offering.

Ohh! I bought it already yesterday ;) Moreover I am from Delhi, guess I forgot to mention that. And yes I manage to get it for 67. Hooked it up last night. The picture is good, sound and 3d look good too.
The WebOS, although exciting is a little slow. I mean once you actually start using it, there are moments where you would want it to be quick. Eg, switching between HDMI and USB input takes around 5 secs. Otherwise a pretty good set.
Would easily recommend it to anyone who plans to actually use a smart TV.

Friends,

I am planning to buy LG 42LB750T, I also consider Sony KDL 42W900B, both are passive 3D.

As usual Sony provide little bright picture quality, but i still confuse between this two model.

which is best ???

Thanks in advance for your valuable expert replays

Finally bought LG 42LB750T at an unbelievable price of 63k.

@sampadrout please let me know if you want to purchase it. I will get you the deal. Call me @ 9632793715.

Friends, please share SETTINGS for Best Picture Quality and Best Colour Reproduction. I tried but couldn't do the appropriate settings to get the Best Picture Quality. My old 25" CRT SAMSUNG TV seems to be far far better in terms of excellent picture quality and EXCELLENT COLOUR REPRODUCTION. I am using KAIZEN cable connection.
My new TV LB750T's colour seems to be washed out. And there is a lot of Eye Strain while watching it. What should be the minimum viewing distance by the way?

I am VERY MUCH disappointed with the Picture Quality and Colour reproduction.

Friends who say that this TV has excellent colour reproduction and picture quality please share picture settings with all of us.

Thanks in advance.

I have purchased this TV.
But I am getting electrical shock from metal frame.
Anyone facing the same problem?

Hi @Jingalala
Tried calling you. Could u give me details of the deal @63k?
On the other hand, regarding the settings issues, its best to call the LG Customer Care Toll Free and book a demo. They will come over and do the best default settings.

Hi All, I finally picked the LB750T at 67K today. This included the 3D blueray player.
Frankly, I delayed buying and ended paying 1 K more. A week back, he seemed wiling to give for 66K. However, on Oct 6th, the MD of LG has released a statement to the effect that "they have not authorised any e-commerce sites to sell their products and cannot guarantee or assurance of services..." The dealer showed me a copy of the official statement. He used this to leverage on the bargaining.

Anyway, I beleive this is still the best price you can pay. You can buy it for 63k without the blueray ( what Jingalala paid- he is the same dealer).

Now my initial product feedback.. ..

LOOKS:It is awesome and definately makes a statement. It adds to the asthetics of your room.
3D EFFECT: The 2D to 3D effect is quick and great. Kids enjoyed watcing the effect. If you have good wi-fi connection, you can always surf HD content and convert into 3D and enjoy.
NAVIGATION: Navigation between different inputs ( Setup box/ Bluray player/ Internet) looked seamless. However, its too early to say
WALL MOUNTING: Great Flexibility. One can tilt it upwards/downwards, sideways, front/ back. A good value addition.
SETUP FEEDBACK: The sevice men were coutious and patiently explained all the product features. They cleaned the mess before leaving ( dust settled due to drilling). Very professional.

Can provide more feedback later.

Another important point. It is necessary that one uses the right stabilizer for this 42 inch TV. Dont get carried away by what dealer says. I purchased the 'V-Guard Crystal Plus' stabilizer seperately which, is specific for TV with more than 40 inch. They are the best and most reliable ( with 3 year warranty). Also, I got it at an unbeatable price of Rs 2600/- only (MRP is Rs 3350/-) from a shop near my home. Online, the best price was more than Rs 2900/-.

Cheers
Razzput

Hi Hi @Jingalala,
Sorry for replying late. I bought this TV on 3rd itself from baron and paid 66.5k. Here the BD player is included. I only carried the TV in my car (as I just can't wait for it getting delivered next day). Due to the long weekend it installed on 6th. While installing the LG person saw that the tv lcd panel was completely damaged. The entire panel was severely cracked from right to left side. Again I have to wait for another 2 days to get the new piece. Here i would like to say if you receive any concealed damaged piece then just call up the dealer and they will replace it. They have transit insurance for every electronic goods. Now its working fine.

Hi
I am planning to buy 47 Lb750, the price they have told me Is 96.5k. And dealer is reluctant to decrease the price. But I am getting sound bar, magic remote due to diwali offer. So I just want to know that if this is good deal, do we get dual play glasses free with this tv or not. I am aware that 4 3d glasses will be free with this. How dvb t2 is helpful and how it works? Is anyone able to record live tv to hard disk? Does the built in wifi support 802.11 ac I.e 5ghz connection?
Please reply thanks

^ Seems good. When I was enquiring during last Diwali festival I got a least quote of 90k with a soundbar offer and 85k without offer. But I finalised exactly after Diwali offer period and this 750T was out of stock everywhere (or atleast wherever I inquired). Waited a week to 10days but was not getting sign of its arrival hence, went for LB6700 which is almost equal 750T except some minor differences.

Btw where you got that price? Now this will be of last year model you could bargain more. Pl beware of demo pieces!
