Lg 55lm7600

Regardless of whether it's active or passive 3D, the focus should be on how the TV delivers HD content, since that's what you'll be watching most of the time. Keep that on priority while taking demos..

Agreed :)

Took a demo of 55ES6200 from Samsung yesterday, the HD was really impressive. SD was absolutely bad (as compared to 46ES6800) and 3D was good. However my wife somehow liked the 3D of LG (47LM7600) much better over any Samsung.

Am still to take up demo of Panasonic

So am again back to square ...
Not able to shortlist amongst LG 47LM7600 / Samsung 46ES7500R / Panasonic 50GT50 / LG 55LM7600 / Panasonic 55ET5D / Samsung 55ES6200

Guys, need a pump to venture in a good 55 incher :p

Avijeet,

It's not worth the efforts. The series has inherent issues. Why not settle for Panasonic ET5 or Samsung ES6200 series? Panasonic can go much brighter and has better contrast. It's motion is better and offers passive 3D.

I reckon it is more of a TV specific issue than a series inherent issue with LM7600. I remember reading of a similar issue a few months back in one of the tech forums - I would share the link when I find it.

For 55" either Panasonic ET5 or Samsung ES6200 are good options. Samsung you'll find the picture a bit processed, but only if you do a side by side comparison. Also, viewing angles are not too great. I liked the ET5. Though you may lose on some picture depth compared to ES6200.

This was spot on

Depth :
Now that I have bought Panasonic 55ET5D and have watched some 3D content peacefully, its looks like more refined and crisp in comparison to LG/Samsung. The depth is pretty good!

Pop out :
In the demo video which I tried on all the three above, scenes where objects seem to be popping out of screen... I noticed a more impact in LG over panasonic however that may be because the extreme settings of 3D in LG was set to highest which was also causing some noise.

With Panasonic, the depth of 3D is better (not pop outs) but the quality is as mentioned sharper and crisp.

Do I need to play with some settings to improve the Pop out effects?

Thanks for your advice bro....

Already cried twice.... 1st a Samsung Plasma 2 years back in which BigTv logo got permantly burned out.... so Samsung replaced it with LCD Series 5.

Now again bad luck with LG 7600 ..Faulty trumotion....

i was happy with LG Plasma... so going back to Plasma... keeping 2 years in mind.

will dispose it for sure by 2015-2016 Diwali.... around 40-50K
