Is there any way to see which resolution a movie is being played on when using Amazon prime app? Also is there a way to remove black bars above and below when watching content from Netflix app? I see same black bars on Amazon prime as well.

Hello FMs.

Ive got the CX65 installed at my home in Port Blair, finally and Im loving it.
I wanted to check if a stabiliser is required for voltage protection or the SMPS would do ?
I should mention that the voltage in the islands is notorious for fluctuations because there's no power grid and the entire island pretty much runs on diesel generators, so constantly there is switching. Would it be advisable to get a stabiliser to protect the expensive investment rather than no protection at all? If yes, please suggest a good voltage stabiliser for the Cx65.

I used his settings for C7. It does improve skin tones and evens out colours in general.
Made a few minor changes to 2 pt and 20 pt WB by looking at solid colour slides (black to white) to remove any colour bias/tinge. Looked fantastic.

Real Cinema to On for movies.
Well I just use ISF Bright Room preset for SDR, which looks good to my eyes with little colour popup and Cinema home/ Cinema for HDR content

I think TV do have voltage surge protection in higher end TV. But why to risk? I got V Guard Digi 200 in Amazon, it is 6 amp one. got around 3.5k Ya 6 amp is a lot. it will more than enough for 65 Inch and all the stb, consoles, hometheatre.......

Last Night my CX55 went kaput. Wouldn't turn on, Pressing on button on remote or Tv caused a white flash for a micro second followed by a clicking noise.
LG Technician arrived today evening and said Motherboard needs to be changed and they don't have that in stock. I asked for a replacement.
Tv was connected to APC 600VA UPS since its installation and it had done close to 60 hours. I didn't even get time to game on it.
Lets see what LG does now.

I think you need a stabilizer. Ups alone is not working as I realized it myself, as the problem is with high voltage that can arise in winter season as most don't switch on their ACs. In an area if less load is consumed the high voltage likeliness can just bust your boards. Ups can handle low voltage but not high voltage.

Digiguard 200 6 amperes I have it too! And I have a 75" TV plus sound bar fit to it.

Like someone said V guard 6amps Digi 200 with volt meter led display. High voltage is converted to 215-230 volts and is 100% recommended.

Is the top and bottom black outs due to different aspect ratios, a danger for image retention? For the individual pixels switch off for producing those blacks, while the other pixels are always on - is this good or bad for an OLED TV?

My LG 65CX also makes the clicking noise when I turn it on. Is this something we need to be worried of? Or is this a common behaviour which is observed by all the owners?

After waiting for a long time, installed LG CX65 yesterday. As per suggestion by many people I attached it to APC Back-UPS 600VA. Suddenly, the UPS power off/on button turned red and blinking. I switched off TV as a precaution. Should I continues to use the UPS? Does any of you have any idea why it's happening?
I followed it up with APC customer care and as per them, Back-UPS 600VA is not suitable for connecting to a TV. Right model for connecting to TV is APC SUA750I-IN and it costs around 12k.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
