So, If you can access the service menu, You can see the number of hours viewed.
If not it is a new one with the new firmware which did not have much time, after it is released, to be a display unit
Either way you are safe?
I wish I could say that. What I really did was thorough inspection of the TV
Wall mount grooves, TV stand screw grooves, all the vents ( This tv has so many vents behind it) for obvious signs of usage.
Even though the firmware is new, it might still be a showroom piece (perhaps a week). So only way to be sure is to take a look at the service menu. The methods I used are not 100% fool proof
