Currently my room is getting a upgrade ..details here : http://www.hifivision.com/home-theater/26723-going-design-my-home-theater-setup-need-inputs.html

Planned to implement Bias lighting , aakash advised me to go for PHILIPS MASTER TL-D 90 Graphica 18W/965 1SL , but it would be hard for me to get it , i think , havent enquired. getting specific model can be difficult in my place.

anyway found a old table lamp , hooked it and kept it at the back of my Panny ST30 , here are the results (camera doesnt quite pickup the exact results)

Without Bias light (if i can call it so )

With Bias Lighting

Note the screens dont give a even background lighting. Even with this sub-optimal placing , the colors and contrast are better and eye strain is much lower.

Planning to get Antec LED or install the philips master (as mentioned above). Any other suggestion for best bias lighting would be good.

There is just one Philips shop in Mumbai that sells the PHILIPS MASTER TL-D 90 Graphica 18W/965 1SL. Even if you are unable to get it, suggest to go with any lamp with 6500k temp and a CRI of over 90, that should work.

your setup looks great..............not only will you now enjoy a better viewing experience but will also experience less eye fatigue.
