You dont have to worry. Buyers are always protected in ebay. Even if you dont get the product, you will be reimbursed 100% of the money you paid.
 
received mine on thursday evening..
looks sealed packed and brand new.. but there is no bill/invoice :(..

the batteries that came with it are totally discharged so replaced them with new batteries..tried configuring it.. works great for my TV and DVD player..

please help me programm it for Xtreamer and SunHD..
These are not listed in its configuration software.. how to do it?
 
Download the latest software from Logitech website.

Xtreamer and Sun-HD STB are there. I am using both of them. Just see the exact model of Sun-HD. Mine is Samsung DSB-5090R. :)
 
ok I am not so lucky with this product atleast so far :(. I recieved my remote yesterday and the batteries inside were leaking. Replaced, but its now stuck on 'welcome to your remote' screen. Googled , tried updating firmaware,update etc. and all other button pressing tricks - no luck :(

Anybpdy faced this before ? Also did others get a reciept - I think i will need one if i contact logitech for warranty. Have contacted the seller to, lets see what happens.

Bad day yesterday - new gadget not working - what could be worse :(

The software in bundled CD was old..even crashed a few times on win7..
It did not have list of new devices.. :)

I downloaded latest software (v7.7) from logitech website..
configured everything now.. It is working flawlessly.. :)
 
Same here,

Downloaded the latest software from website and its working magically. I can not believe that in place of 6 remotes, now I have only one, good looking remote.
 
Sorry to hear about your damage Sachin...I hope Logitech will replace the remote for you.

I own a logitech 520 which has almost same features and looks....so my question(s) to you friends are that...
did you notice any frequent battery discharge?
its requirement is 4xAAA sized batteries with 1.5v each. What batteries are you guyz using?
do you folks use rechargeable batteries? if so are they 1.2v or 1.5v?
I use La Crosse technology NiMH 1000 mah batteries..they are rated at 1.2v....and I have to charge them every night else battery dries next day
do you face any such problems?
I some times feel 520 is defective model and so they released 525:sad:
 
The batteries that I got with my Logitech 525 lasted for 2-3 months. And after that I bought rechargeable (Uniross Ni-MH 1100 mAh, 1.2v and there are going strong for last 3-4 months with their first recharge itself.

My usage is not heavy by the way.

I have replaced the bundled batteries immediately (they were totally discharged).. using Uniross Ni-MH 1100 mAh rechargeable..
 
I received my Logitech Harmony 525 from eBay seller on Saturday. Few observations:

1. No bill.
2. Looks like grey market product, no sticker of indian importer, MRP etc. whereas it was there on my previous remote packing.
3. Totally leaking batteries.
4. Tested the remote, working perfectly fine.

I checked the item description on eBay and it clearly mentions one year warranty. But we do not have anything to claim warranty. Should I confirm the receipt the item on eBay or send a question to the seller about it before confirming the receipt on eBay?

Oh!! That's the usual grey market stuff!!! :rolleyes:
Yes, first send a question using the messaging in the ebay itself (keep a copy for yourself too). This would also act as a proof later in case your remote goes kaput and the seller does not encourage your request!!
Once you get his reply, you can confirm your receipt.
