Well, I am a newbie to the world of Display technology.. I have many questions to ask but first of all I would be pleased to know about my Samsung LCD and this is all about its picture calibrating which has really made me confused...

Ok I have Dish TV India (SD Receiver) I mean it is not HD... so will I have to keep its mode as Movie for watching movies? as it looks not good when I turn the mode to Movie...

So you guy please just explain briefly about this matter and also I request to please share some picture setting for Standard Definition for mmy LA32B450 SAMSUNG LCD...

I shall be grateful.
Thanks.
MALIK

movie mode is initally suggest due to low settings needed for break-in period.. you can either keep it on standard or natural and edit settings as per your requirements..

also mention your tv model...

once you are done with initial 100 or if u can manage 200 hours of break-in you can adjust it as you want.. and congrats for ur tv and congrats for india winning the match..

If he has LCD why are we going into Details about break in, it is specific to Plasma only, Never heard of Breakin in LCD........

Any way my thinking is that Guy is referring to optimal Settings to get best PQ.

Sharpness, Brightness etc,

This link might help

Samsung LE32B450 / LE32B450C / LE32B450C4W Review

In comments section I saw some settings

or Malik maybe you can Google yourself and try some settings that personally suit you. Thats the best method.

Other way is to buy a calibration disc and play in your DVD player to calibrate yourself.

Remember Settings are personal and settings for one may not be to your liking.

Also , Movie mode is set by company is many a time useless. Choose Custom or user to pick settings that suit you best. Play around there is nothing wrong, Choose what suits you best.
