That is very interesting, and, whilst the author can't quite bring himself to accept that the differences that led to his gushing review were perceived but not actual, he does show more humility and reasoning than is often seen amongst screaming aufioph'l folk.

I have the solution !
Use single core 48 swg wire. Encase it in a gas tight thermally insulated outer case . Pass liquid nitrogen through the case. The wire resistance should drop to practically zero !

Plainly, Helium would not be suitable as it would make the sounds weird and squeaky. Liquid nitrogen would make them incredibly brittle.
