Movies/Music to Show-off system.

for movies I would say the transformers trilogy, kung fu panda 2(with all the fire works thanks to Lord Shen), The Dark Knight (the intro bank robbery scene), Casino Royale( the intro scene amidst a construction site)..
For music it would be Pink Floyd - The dark side of the moon; Any of the Mtv unplugged cds preferably the grunge bands like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam etc or some good old Pantera(Vulgar Display of Power, Far Beyond Driven) that will spill your speakers' guts out

For Music here is how I would test:
1) Cortez the Killer by Neil Young, the studio recording version, not the live one.
2) Mother by Pink Floyd, no explanations needed for this choice.
3) Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen, good to test bass and vocals
4) Los Moros by Gino D'Auri, amazing pristine calm Flamenco guitar
5) Goin' Down Slow by Duan Allman, for Blues lovers.
