My 5.1 system is finally complete!!! Posting Pictures

My room size is 16 x 12. I paid Rs. 28k for Denon 1713, here in Mumbai. In fact, I was thinking to buy Yamaha RX-V473. When I went to the shop, I asked for Yamaha 473. Unfortunately, it was not available. One of the things is I wanted to have a AV-Receiver with NetWork. Moreover, I read in the reveiws both 1713 and RX-V473 are equally good with small + and - here and there.

When I auditioned 1713, i liked it and immediately I bought. Now I am adding speakers to it. To start with I have placed the order for Tsi-100 Bookshelves from Polk Audio. I will get it in a day or two.

The network feature of 1713 is simply awesome. I could easily connect all my apple devices via AirPlay. There are good Remote App in the android market as well for this avr. As of now, the AVR is in standby and I can listen to my Tatasky Audio in the TV speakers.

Nice !!! I think, denon outputs a little more power per channel than Yamaha 473 ( if it matters :lol: )

You bought at ProFx ? Do they stock Pioneer AVRs as well ?

What are the floorstandars you are planning to buy in the future ?
Because, I was interested in Polk Audio TSi/Sonodyne 2605 . But some in the forum people doubted if Denon 1713 or Yamaha473 will be powerful enough to drive them (especially at higher volumes) in the room of size 15'x20'.

I bought my TSi 400s at The Shop DN Nagar, but you should be able to get the same prices at ProFX too.
And no, ProFX doesnt stock Pioneers.

I bought it from Fairdeal, Crawford Market. They gave bill. 1 Year Warranty i have to take the system only to them..!

What was the site from where you bought the Onkyo 616 online? I wish to do the same. My initial preference was the 515 but since you have bought the 616 for 26k i guess i would go for the same.

It's good to see your set up. Looks great.

Last week I bought Denon-1713 and now I am adding speakers to it. To startwith I bought Tsi-100 pair (11k in ProFx, Attria Mall) for my front left and right. Later I will go for Floor standing and put this Tsi-100 for surround.

The prices u mentioned seems to be very attractive. Where did you buy your speakers from..? B'coz I am also planning for Polk Audio's Floor standing and Center.

Could you pl. let me know where did you buy the speakers?

I got them from 'The Shop' at D.N Nagar. You can buy it either from where I bought or from Atria ProFX - both are the same in terms of pricing etc.
