Instead of spending a good amount for spikes/racks, it would be better spending for the repair cost due to the wall mount, hardly cost 100/- to 200/- max.

Can I do anything more for more isolation ? Can I keep something between the turntable and the shelf ?

You can try a sand box. Detailed plan here. Low on complexity, not too high on investment, purportedly one of the best isolations around. You can tell us the sonic differences between river sand and sea shore sand

Sunder, LP12 needs a isolation which is light and rigid, not heavy or mass loaded, so anything in that direction will rob the speed and liveliness from the sound of an LP12. So, no heavy racks, butcher blocks, heavy coffee table or Sandbox. A simple solution is the lack table (Ikea type) which is light and hollow. You get the drift right ?

Sorry to get you guys off topic, what do you guys recommend for a Technics SL-Q33. I had planned for a glass shelf mounted on the wall. Is it okay or should I look for a wooden table?

The shel itself is light and rigid, I'm actually happy with the way it sounds now, but I can try removing the marble and directly place the LP12 on the MDF layer and see if any improvements

My un-informed brain tells me that the 'Lack' design would be the easiest for a half-decent carpenter to make. Perhaps you do not want to deal with the hassles of handling one?

Ikea designs are often "flat-pack," ie you have to assemble it yourself anyway.

I think you can only buy Ikea furniture from Ikea stores. You may not have too long to wait. Looks like they may be on the way.
