My little HT set-up with Epson EH-TW480 Projector.

How you can use Epson EH-TW480 with external speaker as there is no Audio Out in Epson EH-TW480.

I plan to buy rca hub where I intend putting audio from tata sky and dvd player. From the hub audio will directly go to my speaker system. There is something called HDMI switcher which I intend to use for video from tata sky and dvd.

Just wondering, what camera do you use? It seems there are very less barrel distortion in there. Nice camera work.

The closeup shot of kingkong is mind blowing. Same with those from Jurassic park and Mummy. Cant believe its 720P

Actually, I really want to see a projector in action in proper environment before buying one. I took a demo at a dealer's place but that was less than ideal room.

Actually I run the Pj with my HTPC via hdmi. My HTPC is supported by

1) nVdia GT440 video card. (Pj through HDMI and Monitor through DVI and set-up my display in 'Duplicate Mode' at 1080p resolution from nVdia control panel)

2) Asus Xoner D2X Audio Card (via 7.1 analog out)

3) Logitec Z5500 (5.1) + Edifier C2 (2.1) speakers system supports my 7.1 channel audio output (directly from my sound card 7.1 analog output)

4) PowerDVD 13 Ultra as my Media Player and supported by 'ReClock' (open source application) which is a great tool for enhancing Audio and Video render. Yes it works with PowerDVD 13 with no issue.

As far as screenshots are concern, I simply pause on a scene (avoid moving scene) and capture without flash either hand hold or table top with my Panasonic Lumex ZS7 Camera and post it unedited but some cropping done.

ok, but the final outcome is still only 720p, but the shots look awesome. Clearly a great projector indeed.
Have you tried projecting anything from a direct HD source like BR player or xbox/PS?

No, I still don't have any BD Player or xbox/ps to play. My only source is my HTPC.

But yes I have some BD iso file which I mount through DAEMON tool Pro and played via PDvd 13 and that was great . All those settings makes a little bit improvement of the projected image.
